A creative and entrepreneurial polymath, Anu Hodges was born in Virginia and raised in Rhode Island, graduating from the University of Southern California in 2008 with a BA in Communication, concentrating on Intersectional Representation in Media, and having minors in Cinema-Television and Fine Arts Painting. With experience in studio and independent features, television and new media development and production, from MTV Films/Nickelodeon Movies at Paramount Pictures to Temple Hill Entertainment to CAA, Hodges specializes in the intersection of social issues and creative culture across media development, often working within themes of mental health, identity, and relationship building. Hodges is partner in real estate design-development company The Soham Group as well as a production/creative consultancy The Genuine Article based in Los Angeles and directs a nonprofit SUNDARA Catalyst Group Co. which runs a creative retreat space located in coastal New England. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner Vajra and their malte-shih-poo, Mage.
