-Denis Saint-Martin is professor in the Department of Political Science at Université de Montréal (Canada). He studied at Carleton University and at the Harvard Center for European Studies. He is an expert in comparative public administration and policy. He received various distinctions for his numerous articles and books. His PhD thesis, Building the New Managerialist State, was published by Oxford University Press and won the U.S. Academy of Management's Best Book Award. He received the Herbert Kaufman Award for Best Paper in Public Administration from the American Political Science Association and was a Fulbright Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government. He served as senior policy advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, and was Director of the Montréal European Union Centre of Excellence. He is currently working on the global history of anti-corruption policy, and on the comparative institutional analysis of legislative ethics.
