Adam Thiele studied filmmaking at Columbia College of Chicago before starting a career in broadcast television writing and directing commercials. After college he directed a 30 minute documentary "Return to Glory" about Belgian Draught horses followed by an independent film he wrote and directed called "Hallelujah, I'm a Bum" which is a modern take on the book Spoon River Anthologies written by Edgar Lee Masters. Adam worked as an Editor on the TV show "Find Our Missing" hosted by S. Epatha Merkerson and the documentary "They Wore the Red Suit" about the lives of department store Santa Clause's. In 2013, he filmed and edited 40+ episodes of the travel show "Paradise TV" earning 2 regional Emmy nominations. The Covid-19 pandemic derailed his brief acting career and Adam returned to writing and directing commercials. He would go on to earn another regional Emmy nomination and a Writers Guild Award nomination for his writing. In 2024 he wrote and directed the short film "Coyote Gold."
