Thaís Fernanda Moreira, better known by her stage name Thaís Moreira, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and artist. In 2015, Thaís was part of the cast of singers on the award-winning The Voice Brasil. She works in the pop and R&B scene. Raised in Contagem, Minas Gerais, she is the daughter of metalworker Gonçalo Moreira and homemaker Vânia Maria Moreira. Surrounded by great music, she learned from her father about the blend of James Brown and Elvis Presley, while at her paternal grandmother's house, she listened to artists from Nelson Gonçalves to Tim Maia. She took her first steps as a singer at the age of 8 in a community choir in her city. Thaís, grew up in a musically rich environment, influenced by artists like James Brown and Elvis Presley. She started singing at age 8 in a community choir and spent four years performing in various bands before launching her solo career with "Let's Groove." Her big break came in 2015 when she joined The Voice Brasil, where her performance of "Masterpiece" turned heads. After leaving the show, she collaborated with rapper Max Souza and later joined the jazz trio Jazzô, showcasing her blend of pop, soul, and R&B. Thais is also involved in philanthropy, supporting organizations focused on drug rehabilitation and autism awareness.
