Rickey Jewkes

Richard "Rickey" William Jewkes is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and singer-songwriter. He was born in Murray, Utah to Reggie Wright Jewkes, a sports broadcaster, later turned personal trainer and basketball coach, and John Jay Jewkes, an executive news producer for KSL Television in Salt Lake City, Utah. His mother is of English, German, and Swiss descent and his father is of English, Italian, and Danish descent. He is the brother to musician Michael Jewkes, with whom he co-owns their music and film production company Midtown Productions. He attended Snow College and Utah State University where he studied economics, business, and theater. His background is in both music and film, where he has received professional music training since age five and produced several home-made films in his early years that won awards in state and local talent contests.
