Barbora Johansson

Barbora Johansson was born 1985 in Prague into artistic family of mother director and father architect. She graduated from Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and gained most of her filming skills during study stays in Paris, Instanbul, Brussels and London. She founded film-discussion platform KINOLAB within which was produced several of her films, especially documentaries focused on current social themes. In her other video work, she often collaborate with contemporary dancers, performers, fashion designers or musicians for whom she creates short format videos with strong artistic approach. Those videos have appeared at several festivals such as La Jolla Fashion Film Festival in California or were awarded within category Best video 2015-2016 at AIPP Awards.
