Aksel Yakup Bektas

Actor Aksel Yakup Bektas was born in Istanbul, Turkey (18 July 1988). During his school years, he performed stage plays with his friends. Since 2006, he made short films. In 2010, he started his academic career and studied in the field of 'behind the scenes. After his training he started to give courses based on performing arts in several institutions (2011 - present). While he was a stage instructor, he also joined various performing artist groups and played at theatres. After 2017, he started to focus on acting in front of camera. Then, he appeared in various television series and full feature films. He is both a stage instructor, director, screenwriter and movie actor.
