Ahmed Mir

Born in Tehran in 1992, Ahmed Mir is the son of two Kashmiri doctors. He discovered his primary interest in films while growing up in Riyadh in the mid 90s. He was too fond of his VCR and had a massive VHS collection. Contradicting his family's will, he dropped out of medical school and began a journey towards media production. His education at Manipal University in Media & Communications followed by NYFA in Los Angeles culminated his potential. In Los Angeles, he re-wrote various short screenplays and edited student thesis films. In July 2019, he began discussing the subject of his first feature film (written 6 years ago), with an independent studio. He lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
