Born in NYC, Anya Stevens, the oldest of three children, was raised in a bilingual family and is fluent in Russian. Anya studied at The School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center for five years and performed with the New York City Ballet until the age of fourteen. Stevens has always had a passion for ice skating and has trained under renown coaches Galina Zmievskaya, Victor Petrenko, and Nina Petrenko. Anya is proud to have reached Competitive Ice Skating Senior Level status in 2018. Since she was a young child, Anya's love of acting and performing has been nurtured at The Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC. Her training there lead her to audition for and book professional acting projects for television and film. Anya's two worlds, skating and acting, collided when she was offered the lead role in the AFI WDW film "Skater" directed by Jessica Kaye. Anya is a member of SAG-AFTRA and is represented by Alison Caiola Management and Stewart Talent Agency.
