Samantha Rokicky

Samantha Rokicky got her start in film when she was cast a background actor in Draft Day. From there, she developed passions in both Journalism and Acting. She has been a morning news anchor, morning weather anchor, evening news reporter, Multimedia Journalist, and associate producer on TV2 KSU. She has also been a writer and a reporter on the TV2 KSU show All Systems Go. Samantha is in nearly a dozen short films as a lead actor and supporting actor. She has worked on the other side of the camera in various positions including as a producer, director, writer, boom operator, audio mixer, and a production assistant. She is known for her role as a News Reporter in the feature film Lao shi jie, which is translated to Looking for Luck in English. The film was shown in 1,000 movie theaters in China and was directed and written by Xiaodong Xie. Recently, Samantha is working on other film projects, continuing her training, and is completing her MFA.
