Rebecca Van Kirk was born in the Chinese province of Guangdong and was adopted by Jim and Shannon Van Kirk before she turned one year old. She is based in Atlanta, Georgia and is a writer, actress, and singer. Rebecca has always been passionate about storytelling and performing. When she won a costume contest at age three by singing and dancing for the judges, Rebecca's parents knew that she belonged in front of an audience. Before she knew how to write, Rebecca would ask her dad to type out every new script idea she had on the family computer, and she would act them out from the living room of her own home. Rebecca has starred in self-projects titled, "I'm Adopted" (2018), "Finding Me" (2018), and most recently, "Left Side" (2021). She has also portrayed numerous roles at her school, which include Flounder in "The Little Mermaid", Juliet in a Seuss-ified version of "Romeo and Juliet", and Minnie Fay in "Hello, Dolly!" Rebecca is also an aspiring photographer who launched her own small business, "Photos By Becca". When Rebecca's not working, she enjoys creative writing, listening to music, and spending quality time with her loved ones. The future holds great opportunities for Rebecca, and she cannot wait to see what's in store for her!
