Arabella Claire Grant is an American child actress. She began acting professionally at the age of 5 after booking her first ever audition playing the role of Amy, daughter of Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter) and Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer), on the NBC show Timeless (2018). Arabella was born in Santa Clarita, California to parents Christine and Joshua Grant. An early and avid reader, she loves books and taught herself to read before she was 2 years old. She became one of the youngest females ever invited to join Mensa at age 4, after scoring in the Genius IQ range on a gifted school entrance test. Before even starting Kindergarten, Arabella was reading at a middle school level, and had started writing her own short stories and plays. Her parents, trying to find another way to keep her active mind entertained, enrolled her in a local acting class where the young book lover fell quickly in love with the storytelling aspect of acting. During her first showcase at her acting school, she received glowing feedback and was immediately scouted and offered representation by multiple top talent agents. After filming Timeless, Arabella did several commercials, stage plays, and musicals in her first year of acting. These experiences further cemented her love for performing. She soon made her return to TV playing Lily on the Netflix show Fuller House, acting alongside the original Full House cast Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Scott Weigner. She was directed by Dave Coulier who, upon watching her perform, proclaimed her a "little Shirley Temple". Arabella's natural charm and extraordinary intelligence soon caught the attention of the producers of NBC's show Little Big Shots; Ellen DeGeneres and Melissa McCarthy. After they saw a YouTube video of her extensive knowledge, she was invited to appear on the show and filmed her own segment in January of 2020. Arabella charmed the hearts of millions with her funny and adorable personality during her interview with Melissa McCarthy, and then impressed the world with her incredible knowledge during a game where she identified multiple states, countries and their capitals simply by seeing their outline. During the show, Arabella stunned the audience by revealing that she had taught herself every US State and Capital, as well as hundreds of countries and their capitals, simply by looking at world map place-mat while eating breakfast every morning. Most recently, Arabella joined the cast of the upcoming feature film "To Leslie", acting opposite an award winning cast including Allison Janney, Andrea Riseborough and Marc Maron. Arabella is a vegetarian with a huge heart and passion for animals and the environment. She loves science, geography, and reading. In her free time she is always singing, dancing, and writing her own stories and short films. Arabella lives with her parents and 4 siblings in Southern California.
