Nour Al Nabawy is a young Egyptian actor who studied Acting and Theatre at Santa Monica College, and California State University, Northridge, in the USA. He started acting in different plays during his studies at college. Upon his return to Cairo, Egypt, he joined different acting workshops until he was selected to join the cast of El Ekhtyar2 which premiered during Ramadan 2021. Written by Hani Sarhan and director Peter Mimi, the serial drama was headlined by Kareem Abdelaziz and Ahmed Mekki, Eyad Nassar, Ingy El Mokadem, and Asmaa Abou El Yazeed. Nour's remarkable performance as First- Lieutenant Ahmed Shousha caught the attention of audiences and critics alike, which was manifested in the frenzy that took over Facebook and the different social media platforms during the serial drama's streaming in Ramadan 2021. In addition, he co-stars with legendary actor Mahmoud Hemida in the social-drama series Na'el 'Am (Public Transportation). The 30-episode family drama revolves around the family of an employee working in the public transport sector where Nour Al Nabawy stars as one of the employee's sons. Directed by Adel Adeeb, the series features a wide array of stars including Mahmoud Hemida, Sawsan Badr, Dina, and Mirhan Hussein. It's written by the Egyptian Arts Group's Workshop, under the supervision of scriptwriter Mohamed Ismail Amin. The series aired on the CBC channel as of January 20th, 2022. Nour's latest work in Ramadan 2022 marathon was the TV drama hit Rageen Ya Hawa, which houses a star-studded cast including Khaled El Nabawy, the Lebanese actress Nour, Hana Shiha, Wafaa Amer, Anoushka, Ahmed Bedeir, and Salma Abou Deif, among others. Nour's performance caused hysteria on social media and on the streets which won him the hearts of the audiences and the recognition of the media throughout Ramadan which landed him the title of this year's male "Rising Star".
