Mary Chrzanowski

Judge Mary A. Chrzanowski was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice "with distinction" from Wayne State University and graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law. Judge Mary was elected to the Macomb County Circuit Court in Michigan at the age of 30 and presided for over 23 years as a Circuit Court judge hearing criminal, civil and family court matters. She also supervised the county's drug court program. Her passionate, no-nonsense approach earned her the title Judge "Scary Mary" and attracted the attention of NBC's Dateline. Judge Mary has also appeared on The Doctors and Dr. Phil, doling out tough love to those suffering with substance abuse.
