Scott Paul Sloane is a Retired 30-year veteran of the fire Service. Since 1988, Captain Sloane served with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue working through the ranks as a firefighter/Paramedic, Company Officer, Administrative Officer and Infection Control Coordinator for the Emergency Medical Services Division. In this role he was uniquely involved in South Florida's preparedness efforts for both Bioterrorism and Pandemic Disease type events. Dr. Sloane is also an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Vascular Surgery and Emergency Medicine. He has been on many Medical Missions to the Island Nation of Haiti with the University of Miami, where his teams provided Primary Health Care to disadvantaged populations in rural settings. Scott Paul Sloane has additionally served in the United States Army as an Army Paratrooper and Blackhawk Helicopter Crew Chief with the 82nd Airborne Division.
