Inuk holds a Master's Degree in film studies from the University of Aarhus (Denmark), is a voting member of the European Film Academy, and has a long history of producing shorts and advertising content of different sorts. He grew up in Greenland making short animations and videos and as an adult he is still committed to exploring his Inuit background in his productions. Today he is on the board of directors of the Greenlandic filmmakers' association, Film.GL, and an advocate for indigenous storytelling in film. Both credited as well as uncredited he has been involved in the development of several short films and documentaries from pre- to post production, as a story supervisor and a consultant. His short films have been shown at more than 100 film festivals worldwide and on every continent, including Antarctica, winning awards in as diverse countries as the U.S., Finland, India, Canada, Ukraine, and Greenland. While he has won praise for his own films he has been teaching film for more than a decade and has been involved in several film workshops and festivals all around the Nordic countries helping young people learn about filmmaking.
