Gabriel is a British-Sardinian actor, director and writer. He is a graduate of the Royal Exchange Theatre Young Company and trained with David Johnson (BEM), who has produced award-winning actors from Anna Friel to Coronation Street stars including Suranne Jones and Anne Kirkbride. Gabriel began acting from a young age, working on CBBC's the '4'O Clock Club' and 'So Awkward' and was inspired by his Mother, mezzo soprano Antonia Sotgiu, who played the title role in Carmen at the Royal Albert Halls. Gabriel is known for his work on 'Hollyoaks', as Ollie Morgan, and as Sam on 'Coronation Street'. He is a founding member and co-artistic director of the theatre company SwitchMCR and has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Drama at the University of Manchester. In 2019 Gabriel joined the cast of Audible's 'The Waringham Chronicles', Amazon's record breaking audio-drama epic, alongside Miriam Margolyes, Finty Williams and Gareth David-Lloyd. In 2020 it was announced that Gabriel would take over the role of Ollie Morgan in Channel 4's long-running drama, Hollyoaks, after previously appearing in the show as Chris. Gabriel is a member of the Labour Party.
