Beatrice Bosson

Béatrice Bosson, in facts, got from her late mother Germaine the passion of music. Her mother was a chorister at Methodist Church in their village, Aniassué, and Béatrice was following her in practice and mass. For that moment she was influenced by religious songs. At the age of 15 she became aware of her legacy and joins the same choir. As things go fast she joins other musical groups of the same church. But this time, at Abengourou. In 1996, she tries with some friends to release a disk. Unfortunately, this project does not come to the end. Bosson Béatrice says "as the old saying goes, the leopard can never change his spots." To her actress credits many roles in films such as «Sah Sandra», «Virus 2», «Plagiat» and films for television such as «Fait pas ça» and «Faut pas fâcher». Beside that part this singer and actress has been very generous of her time. She was the founder of a NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) named Renaissance Organisation which operates in social area. Coming back to the music part, Béatrice now named Be Saphir had released her first album in 2009 named "Mouin" who unfortunately didn't get the attention of Ivorian public, but paradoxically has send her to sub region scenes on some festivals beside some of the great names of international gospel such as Maggi Blanchard, Marcel M'Boungou, Martyn Carrière and Thierry Ostrini from famous group Exo Eclat. More and more she is considered as a leader of Ivorian music, especially Afro Beat, she positions herself with ambition as artist like Myriam Makeba, ASA and many more who are the pride of African music. In 2018, she adopted her grandmothers name "Ahissia" as her official stage name, as she needed the ace musician's legacy to continue. She was honored by the prestigious monarch awards "Obaland Royal Awards" also known as Africa Grammy Awards for Best Ivorian Actress of the Year 2019
