Sumaya Rida

Sumaya Rida is one of the few rising Saudi Arabian actresses. Sumaya starred in the first Saudi horror movie "Junoon" 2019 and acted in the first Saudi movie "Roll'em" 2019 that were both premiered in the Saudi cinemas after legalization. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia. At the age of 16, she left to continue her studies in the United Kingdom. After gaining an MSc in International Marketing Management from the University of Surrey, she went back to work in Saudi Arabia. In summer 2017 she got her first role in "Bashar" TV show on OSN after meeting the Saudi director Ali Al Sumayin. Later on, she continued her Method Acting education in the Middle East. In 2018 she also landed a role in "Nofilter" Saudi TV show with Abdullah Al Sadhan. She continued her acting education while starring as the Saudi wife in "Another Planet" TV show, 2019. Later on, she appeared as Khalid's ex-girlfriend in "Roll'em" movie. Roll'em 2019 was the very first Saudi movie to be premiered in the Kingdom cinemas after legalization. And most recently she starred in "Junoon" movie that was filmed in Los Angeles. In 2020 Sumaya landed a role in "Rashash" TV series, directed by Colin Teague. The same year Sumaya Starred in "Rupture" movie, in which she played against Billy Zane.
