Evan Michael Gering

Evan Michael Gering is an extremely imaginative, motivated, and quick learning Director of Photography. He likes to camera operate while in the role of DP because it allows him to be a little bit closer to the story and allow creative intuition to transpire. Evan is from Southern California where he is freelancing in the film industry. Evan received a BA in Cinematic Arts and Technology with Magna Cum Laude from California State University Monterey Bay. He was employed as a Service Desk Technician in the film department at CSU Monterey Bay for nearly 3 years while working on narrative, documentary, and experimental short films. During college and following graduation, he has worked in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area on features, shorts, commercials, and music videos.
