Archie Chew is an award-winning Director known for his work in documentary and narrative works. He has directed and shot a number of documentaries for various charity organisations in Kenya, India, The Tiwi Islands and rural Australia. He also devised and shot music videos for bands such as, "The Slingers," and, "The Tipsy Scholars," that were most prominently featured as part of the Street Parade series. Most recent accolades include Best Live Action Short at the Canberra Cans Film Festival 2017 for his film, Catfish. Archie is studying his Masters in Arts Screen: Directing at AFTRS (2019) and he has been collating all of his past work into developing his fierce interest in depicting existential journeys through stylisation of verbal and physical comedy. He illustrated this most recently in his farcical short, The Dicky Wallpaper (2018), and he hopes to further interrogate this style in The End, The Beginning (2020).
