Morgan Ann Hammen

Under the mentorship of Emmy-winner Greg Yaitanes and DGA Co-Chair for Diversity Michael Goi (ASC), Hammen has impressed many successful directors. Since graduating from Columbia College Chicago ('20) and completing an internship at 87North, Hammen has worked on the industry's top shows, including The Morning Show, Westworld, Shameless, Snowfall, and most recently a JJ Abrams/HBO pilot called Duster. With 8 compelling films under her belt, this up-and-coming director made her online festival debut with Dead Man's Hand (2020) at the Manifest Urban Arts Festival in Chicago. She's been endorsed by Canon Camera and The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' executive director, Cowing, saying, "She always goes above and beyond what you ask her to do... A conversation will convince you of her maturity and breadth of knowledge... I truly believe she'll go far in this industry." Now, Hammen works as an executive assistant at Stone Village, a production company in LA lead by Scott Steindorff and Zhara Astra. Their company has produced recent success Station Eleven (HBOMax) as well as Chef and The Lincoln Lawyer.
