Yousef Bilal

Yousef Bilal is a Swedish film director and editor. Raised in Stockholm, he's been making short films with his friends ever since he was a child with the hopes of one day making a feature length film. Since 2004, Yousef made short films throughout his time at film school in Stockholm, and since his graduation in 2011 he has mostly focused on directing numerous music videos. As of 2016, however, he retired from making music videos and has focused his attention entirely on short films. Yousef has created Moonlight Cinema along with his reunited childhood friends. Together they have released their debut film "Curriculum Vitae" (2018) and are working on several short films planned to be released in 2019 and onward.
