Natasha Dai was born in Sydney, Australia. She is of Chinese descent and speaks fluent Cantonese. She started working on her acting craft during high school and appeared in several school theatre productions including Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. At the age eighteen, Natasha took up modeling and competed in the Miss Australia Chinese Pageant 2017, winning Miss Congeniality. Natasha's acting career began when she auditioned for New Face Talent Academy (NFTA), which got her her first acting agent. During that time she appeared in commercials such as Bexsero's "Missing Protection", and played a role in Highlight Pictures the short film "Miscreation". Since then she has played other roles in multiple student films, commercials, and stage productions including Sydney Fringe Festival's play JIG and Mermaid Tempest and Friends' annual Enchanted Winter Ball. Natasha studies The Meisner technique under Billy Milionis, and The Chubbuck Technique under Anthony Wong. Natasha studied the Standard American Accent under Bill Pepper, and Received Pronunciation under Lindsey Lawson.
