Guillermo David Noriega López is an award-winning writer/director from Mexico City. He is the lead and only writer of the film "Back To Lyla," a highly anticipated romantic dramedy that has already garnered massive media exposure around the world. Starring BAFTA winner Gonzalo Martin, Tracie Thoms, Emma Kenney, Mara Escalante, Hassie Harrison, and Chris Lee, Back To Lyla was directed by "Legacies," and "Blindspot" alum, America Young. Guillermo also wrote and directed the award-winning web-series "American Parousia" and "The Bailey Society," two pieces that granted Noriega a lot of success during several festival circuits, scoring awards such as "Best Web Series" in the prestigious Accolade Global Film Competition and "Best Series" in the Independent Shorts Awards. Known also for his superb job as a Head Writer in the Facebook Watch hit variety show, "Confetti México," Guillermo has also co-written the multi-awarded short film "Modern Animals," which premiered in the Catalina Film Festival. Guillermo resides in Los Angeles, California, where he's occupied in other projects that are still in the pre-production phase. Being a head writer/creator of the animated adult comedy "Rules of the World," writing Mexico's next big hit romantic comedy starring Drake Bell, and writing other two feature films; "Poison Fields" and "American Zoo."
