Jem Hawkes

Jem was born just outside Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England in 1974. Birth name Georgina Hayward, but acquired the nickname of Jem in the late 1990's and it stuck. After undertaking early education in Dramatic Arts and Art, Jem spent some time at Youth Theatre, in Oxfordshire, writing and directing, as well as on the stage. After a long hiatus for an alternative career and motherhood, 2015 saw Jem reappear on screens as a TV demonstrator, bringing her own unique style of jewellery design and teaching. This was also the year Jem began modelling for Couture Wedding Gown designer, Uptight Clothing, with whom many bridal jewellery collaborations have occurred. 2018 brought about a full return as Jem began to work in supporting acting rôles, art installations, dramatic crime recreation for the BBC, music video, a cameo in a 2019 release indie horror and live rôle play acting for a training company. 2019 started out with the BeYourOwn campaign and more live rôle play.
