Jaye Reaves

Jamal Reaves known professionally as 'Jaye Reaves' is an American Music Artist, Producer, Composer, Songwriter and Screenwriter. He was born on January 31st, 1988 to Kathy Reaves and James Galloway in Central Virginia. He moved to Los Angeles in search of better opportunities and as a result co-founded Waxie Entertainment Group, LLC in 2018. Reaves wild imagination has allowed him to create multiple stories in the form of music, film and television. He released his debut EP 'The Come Up' on July 2nd, 2021. With tracks like 'Don't Settle' displaying the depth of his creativity to build anticipation, it is clearly evident that Jaye can migrate comfortably between dynamic and casually rhythmic soundscapes. The songs which feature his own vocals and those of his wife Amoreè, are infused with elements of Hip Hop, Rock, Pop and Jazz. Playing off each other on tracks such as 'The Opening', 'The Root' and 'Time Watch', Jaye's rhymes waltz around the magnificent ethereal vocals of his love. The result is a perfect blend of shade and light underscored with organic beats, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, keys, horns and breath-taking string arrangements.
