Gene Baker was born on June 4th, 1969 to parents Robert and Gail, owners of a Ford dealership in Thunder Bay, ON. After winning several local talent contests Gene's parents moved him to L.A. where he became Madonna's guitarist, serving this role from 1984-1987. In 1988, Gene went solo and developed an international reputation as a leading songwriter and performer. With five Grammy-winning albums under his belt, today he uses royalty money to fund independent ventures that further his work and, "the mission of the Millennial generation".
