Marek Lichtenberg

Marek Litchenberg is a professionally trained actor (having been cast in numerous movies, T.V. shows, short films, commercials and high profile brand campaigns in the UK, US, Europe and Asia) and producer; working as the managing director and producer of Saint Halo Productions. One of his missions is to connect filmmakers from all across the globe. Marek says: "Our goal at Saint Halo Productions is to produce impactful, intellectually challenging movies with a social message cleverly imbued within each one. No matter the story, fiction or nonfiction, there's always a key message we're shining a light on." Off screen, if you don't find him working diligently as a producer or an actor, you'll find him working other operational roles, such as production manager, line producer, location manager or 1AD. . Since starting his production company, he's produced several projects with filmmakers all over the world. Some currently in post production are the feature documentary Grenfell, about the Grenfell disaster in 2017 in London; the WW2 feature The Final 45; the short period piece Agela; the 1970's short period piece On The Run; and many more. "Busy" is Marek's middle name! If you thought that was a lot just wait until you read about what he has in development and pre-production: the dark and suspenseful horror sc-fi short O T H E R, a project already garnering much attention due to it's suspenseful and twisty story and planned use of a visually stunning retro approach with its filming; the filmmakers plan on using an old-school Hollywood filmmaking technique called Matte Painting, with it's modern version "DMP" (Digital Matte Painting) as opposed to the current CGI and green screen methods predominantly used in the industry. O T H E R's goal is to showcase how destructive the human race is, and how we fail to stop ourselves from succumbing to our history: "On a remote planet, a human has a forbidden encounter with an endangered alien species causing consequences for both." It's said by those who've read the script to be an urgent story of what it means to be human told in a most sensationally entertaining way. You expect the film to be one thing, but it mutates into something else... But wait, there's more! Also in development and pre-production: the dark Gen Z feature The Flowers, filming November 2022; the period drama Muddy Shoes (shot on 16mm & 35 mm film), an official finalist in the Page Awards 2022; two LGBTQ drama features Limerence and Hello Midnight; a presently untitled rom-com musical (described as "Bollywood meets Westerns") set to film in Spain with co-production in India; and a spin-off for a well-known franchise... Marek also has a keen interest in working as a VFX set supervisor and growing his post-production management skills. Other skills (having specialized training for all) include Motion Capture, firearms combat, marksmanship, martial arts, weaponry and stage combat. He is fluent in English (with various accents), German, Italian, Czech and Slovak. His favorite activities include charitable work, horse riding, learning Mandarin, and being an inspirational coach often focusing on mental well-being. By Harry Boxley
