Dana Marlowe

Dana Marlowe has always had a large heart and a longing to help people. Between beginning her career in environmental preservations, to maintaining her day job as a tech consultant for disabilities, giving back is the name of her game. And after gaining and losing weight during her pregnancies, she realized there is a whole untapped community of women who could use a lending hand, so Dana was encouraged to begin her foundation. As the founder of "I Support the Girls," Dana is the glue that keeps her team together. She works six days a week and as many hours as needed to make sure that every woman in America never has to worry if they have the feminine hygiene products they need. Many people don't think of feminine hygiene products as necessities, but every woman knows all too well they couldn't go without tampons, pads, menstrual cups, etc. Dana has recently gained global recognition with her nonprofit, even getting on a call from the World Health Organization to devise strategies for her donations to reach those in need around the world. Dana is out there every day working out of her warehouse and doing contactless deliveries around D.C. and at her post office. She feels that she needs to be doing this in order to make women feel as though these products aren't a privilege, but a necessity. Dana believes she's just a suburban soccer mom trying to do some good in the world. While she has two sons, she believes that everyone should learn and understand the importance of women's hygiene and has them working with her, packaging products and helping to drop them off.
