Dan Ginsburg

Dan G. has been obsessed with radio ever since he was a child, when he dreamed of becoming the next Casey Kasem. While some kids have an imaginary friend, Dan instead had an imaginary radio station: "Planet Dan." Dan got his on-air start in actual, real-life radio in 2005 in Madison, Wisconsin at Z104: The Hit Music Channel. He later transitioned into off-air work, serving as production director, traffic manager, and continuity director. He moved to Chicago in 2009 and made his return to the airwaves in 2013 after the launch of Chicago's new 93.9 MY fm. In 2016, Dan began a stint as a full-time on-air traffic reporter and producer for the Chicago hub of the Total Traffic & Weather Network. He was promoted to a management position as the hub's director of operations in 2017. Dan made his reality television debut in 2018, when he was cast on Sequester. He reached the jury phase of the game and finished in eighth place, falling victim to the wheel and a battle match at the conclusion of the "Date Night" episode.
