Laura Rey

Laura is a Colombian director, producer and actress based in Los Angeles, CA. Laura was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Audiovisual Communication in 2017. After graduating from her BFA, Laura moved to Atlanta, GA where she earned a Master's degree in Film and Television from SCAD. Laura started her training as an actress since she was a kid the Charlot Academy in Colombia and with Dustin Hoffman's Masterclass. She continued her training at Nick Conti's Professional Actor's Studio in Atlanta and nowadays she's attending Brian Lee Franklin's acting classes in LA. On the other hand, Laura has worked as Director, Producer and Assistant Director in several short films that have been selected for festivals such as Georgia Shorts Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Awards, Summer of The South, Orlando Film Festival, Oaxaca Filmfest, among others. Laura has also worked for some of the big companies in the film industry, such as Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, and Turner, where she experienced the behind-the-scenes of the professional television industry.
