Leticia is a filmmaker and a multi award-winning stage director. In 2020, Leticia directed her first block of TV on the hit show Bump, a Stan Original Series produced by Roadshow Rough Diamond. Bump premiered on Stan on January 1st 2021. In 2021 Leticia completed a director's placement with Michael Rymer on the anthology series The Fires supported by Film Victoria. The Fires is created by Tony Ayers Productions/NBCUniversal International and distributed by ABC in Australia. Leticia is a recipient of Screen Australia's Gender Matters grant - Brilliant Careers. In 2017 Leticia worked in-house at Madman Productions doing script development on the feature film Below. In 2018 Leticia completed an attachment on Princess Pictures/Channel10's TV series How to Stay Married by Peter Helliar, with comedy TV directors Natalie Bailey and Peter Helliar. In 2019 Leticia also completed an attachment with Leah Purcell on the feature film The Drover's Wife the Legend of Molly Johnson. Through Screen Australia's Developing the Developers Program, Leticia completed a six-week internship with Studio7. Leticia was a resident artist with leading Virtual Reality company StartBeyond for which she began adapting Steve Vizard's and Paul Grabowsky's chamber opera The Space Between into a virtual reality experience The Space Between XR. Now produced by New Canvas, this work has been selected into the 2021 NewImages Festival's prestigious financing market XRFM. Leticia's first short film Wild, which she wrote and directed, won the London Film Awards' 'Golden Lion - Best First Time Director' also won the 'Next Gen Student Film Award' at the inaugural Melbourne Women in Film Festival. Leticia's second film The True History of Billie the Kid premiered at The Melbourne International Film Festival for which Leticia was selected to be a part of MIFF'S 2018 Accelerator Program. In 2019 The True History of Billie the Kid screened nationally and internationally to over 15 Film festivals and picked up a several awards. Her commercial work in 2020 has also been recognized by Horizon Interactive Awards. Leticia's stage work has received Helpmann, Green Room, and Sydney Theatre Awards and has toured nationally and internationally. Leticia is dedicated to telling powerful female focused stories for both stage and screen.
