Austin Silversmith

Austin is an actor from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. He is a Cayuga Nation Wolf Clan. He has stage experience as well as writing experience with Brant Theatre Workshops (BTW) out of Brantford, Ontario. He began his stage career in 2016 at the age of 9, appearing in a stage play performed by Brant Theatre. He currently (2020) still works with BTW, having performed in 4 plays as a supporting player and has assisted in the writing process in 3. Austin has had opportunity to participate in acting workshops with the talents of Gary Farmer, also of Six Nations, and John Tench. He has also had the pleasure of working with director Jonathan Elliott, also of Six Nations, in his short film Taken Home. Austin plays young Tom, a boy who, along with his older sister, is taken into foster care. He has also done background work in film for an currently (2020) unreleased film.
