Dianne is a published author from Toronto, On. Canada. Her first publication, in the year 2000 was a non-fiction book about her dog walking and dog sitting company, Jog-A-Dog, based on the author's experiences. The Face In The Window - A Guide to Professional Dog Walking contains a wealth of timeless information for any person seeking employment in that realm. It is also an entertaining and informative read for a novice dog owner and a helpful resource for the owner looking to hire the right dog walker. It gives insight into the kinds of predicaments one may find on a daily walk, how to resolve and prevent incidents from occurring. In 2006 Dianne wrote a second edition called: Out, Standing In My Field - A Guide To Home Boarding. Dianne's book was nominated for Best Short Book by the Dog Writers Association of America. http://www.jogadog.ca/dog-walking-book/ She has since written fiction in the form of scripts both short and feature-length. In 2018, she completed her first short film, Therapy Dawg which was of sorts, a homage to the band, The Offspring. Why The Offspring? Her first feature-length script is a Rock and Roll musical based on the premise of the band's biggest hit song, "Self-Esteem." The narrative boasts a combination of 30 songs in total rounding out the story. Even if the film is never made, The Offspring will always have a place in Dianne's heart. The musical is called SMASH which was created and copyright registered in 2014. Dogs especially play an important role in Dianne's life and in most of her scripts. She likes to have at least one dog as a character in all her stories whether they play a principal role or a walk-on role. Animal rights is a subject of high priority for Dianne. She is working on a feature animation called Farmageddon (2020) about farm animals, forest animals and circus animals coming together to change humanity for the better. Dianne's favorite genre is Romantic Comedy and she is currently (2020) completing a feature-length script about a woman who thinks there is a government conspiracy to keep her single and it turns out she is right. The working title is Conspiracy of One, which also happens to be an album and song title from the band The Offspring.
