Sunanda Sathe, (born 26 April 1945) is an Indian Theater artist as a Writer, Actor, Director. At the age of 73 she is playing a lead role of elderly Grandmother in the film "KAMBAL (2018)" directed by Mohit Nirmala. At the age of 52, She has perused her diploma in M.F.A. (Darma). She has performed in 11 drama's, 13 Female One Act play's (Ekankika) in Marathi dramas and 15 (Bal-Ekankika) all of them are published and performed. She is the only female artist who has written and enacted in her plays in 'Maharashtra Rajya Natya Spardha' for almost more than 13 Years. During her career in theatre she has received Acting Awards 9 Times. She has received "Theatre Writer and Theatre Artist" Award in the year 2017 by Minister Nitin Gadkari. In the Year 2018 she was facilitated by the "Jesta Kalvanta" Award by the hands of Nitin Gadkari on the occasion of Sanskrutik Mohatsav , Nagpur. In the year 2010 Akheel Bhartiya Natya Parishad which was held in Nagpur , where she was awarded "Ram Ganesh Gadkari - Lekhan Gaurav Puraskar" In the year 2002 , she has received "Savitri Bai Phule Kartutvawav Mahila" by Kamgar Kalyan Kendra , Nagpur.
