Benjamyn Bird

I am a recent graduate from Arts University Bournemouth specialising in Production Design, looking to expand my wide-ranging skills and knowledge in a real-world environment and would be grateful if you'd consider me for this position. I have spent the last 18 months completing my master's degree in Production Design, where I worked on over 16 films including my graduation film where I designed and build a 32ft hotel lobby set on an extremely low budget. This gives me a lot of experience designing, building and dressing sets, conceptualising ideas, sourcing props and costumes and most importantly making your vision a reality. Before this, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Design from Leeds Beckett University. I have also worked professionally as a designer for Handicare as a CAD technician and following this a Technical Illustrator for Spirax Sarco. Both involved me working as part of a large team, creating drawings, animations and computer models for many different areas of these companies.
