Andres Garza Escobar

Andrés was born and raised in Mexico City. Since a very young age he started showing interest in film. He's a graduate on a bachelor's degree on Communications & Digital Media, with a focus on Film Studies, on the Tecnológico de Monterrey. While studying there, he directed and co-wrote two short films which competed in several short film festivals. He's also passionate about post-production work, being an award-winning documentary his most outstanding one. He won a scholarship to study in Vancouver Film School, where he studied Film Production with an specialization on Directing and Post-Production. He directed In Paradise, his first big budget short film, while in Canada, alongside many other audiovisual projects.
