Adnan Malik

Adnan Malik is an international award-winning former journalist turned filmmaker. He made his debut as the first Bahraini director, producer, writer, and actor of the first Bollywood feature film shot in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Khel Kood Aur Bhoot (Fun, Frolic, and Ghost) is a comedy+horror film inspired by true events, and Malik, a Bahraini of royal Indian mixed (Hindu Brahmin & Muslim) heritage, The movie was released directly to OTT on MXPlayer, India's largest OTT platform on Friday the 13th (MAY) 2022. Before devoting his work to full-time filmmaking and acting, Malik served as the Acting Director of Corporate Communications for Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air, where he handled everything from the CEO's speech to devising a PR strategy for international brand partnerships, including Formula One racing. Malik, however, considers their stint as a correspondent for The Associated Press the most memorable and challenging job ever. It rewarded him with his AP writer byline "Adnan Malik" which featured around the world, including in major American newspapers like the New York Times, The Washington Post, and the LA Times, to name a few. Malik, who holds a Master's degree in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona, considers himself a lifelong learner. He also wrote a thesis on learning how to solve the Rubik's cube in 5 days and under five minutes. He can now solve the 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, and the Chinese Shengshou 3x3 Rubik's cube. Malik, who is a trained actor, is also an award-winning gymnast and table tennis player. He is ambidextrous, but mostly left-handed racket sports.
