Juan Picos Bonavera

Juan Picos Bonavera was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. During his childhood he dreamed to become a professional soccer player and played in different clubs such as Club Parque, Boca Jrs. and Argentinos Jrs. When he graduated from High School, he ended up studying different careers and he finally discovered his real vocation: acting, when he was in a trip at Los Angeles. After going back to Argentina, Juan signed up in different acting classes and redecorated his bedroom with postcards and posters from Hollywood and a huge vision Board with the Hollywood Sign in the center. His mantra became, only the person who is willing to go far, will know how far he can get. He was convinced that his dream one day will become real. In 2017, he found out that The American Academy of Dramatic Arts was going to hold auditions in Buenos Aires, and he immediately signed up for that. He became the only of the auditioners to enter to the Conservatory from Argentina, and inmediately he moved to Los Angeles to start the two-year conservatory program of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Juan is also a musician. He had a band when he was young who appeared in national TV Canal de La Musica, something like MTV for the States. Nowadays he uses his spare time to write films and play music. One of the things he most loves of LA is the nature and being so close to the Beach, something that it isn't possible in Buenos Aires. He also loves to do physical activities and outdoor activities such as hiking, running, swimming and weight lifting. One of his beliefs and what it makes him to be so motivated to reach success in Hollywood is the idea to help children in disadvantage, children who live in condition of poverty that need help. As a person who struggled financially in his childhood, he feels the need to help children. His goal is to show people that when you believe in something no matter what your actual circumstances are, if you fully believe in yourself, in some way or other, the resources or the help are going to appear, and you will fulfill your dreams. He wants to make people connect to him and think, if he can do it, I can do it. He is a believer in life, and positive thinking. His wish is to transform people's lives through his Art.
