Leonardo Daccarett, born as Benjamin Leonardo Daccarett, was the third and youngest child of Sandra Daccarett, an accountant at the time, and Mario Daccarett, a dairy nutritionist. His parents moved to the US from Honduras in the 1980s. They later moved to California in the 1990s. Leon spent most of his childhood familiarizing with all times of cinema. He quickly became a film collector, going from various stores to find films he did not yet own or had prior knowledge of. After spending time making home movies, Leon at the age of 13 was an assistant on a film short produced by his sister Emily Daccarett. At the age of 15 began taking theatre classes during his high school years. He immediately fell in love with acting and being on stage. Quickly he took to taking any kind of work he could get. Leon began with minor roles in indie short films and went from being an actor to later a sound mixer and freelance editor. While still in high school, Leon founded Fair Studios Productions a small office recording studio that he and his friends used for their YouTube series. Originally starting as a gaming commentary channel, it later evolved into a review show where Leon discussed many new and old movies as well as anime. In the review series he played a version of himself named Grant, who is often cited as the more cynical and exaggerated side of him. This studio would later serve as recording studio that he would rent out to musician friends he met in LA. In his early 20s, Leon stayed away from acting, only appearing in a few short films and as well as some of his own projects. He planned on breaking into the Producer world which had led to him producing a variety of short films in LA. Leon has also shown an interest in writing and directing with his recent work mostly being independent short films under his company Fair Studios Productions. He work's closely with his longtime film friend, Joshua Urroz, who has acted in nearly every short film. Leon till this day still keeps up as an editor and sound mixer, but has shown more interest in branching out into a more creative role.
