Christian Monroe-Haynes

Christian Monroe-Haynes was born and raised in Chicago Heights, Illinois. A student of AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts BFA Acting Program. Christian started out in his first production as Simba in the Lion King that his community theatre put on. Christian's eyes were awakened to a new world of different possibilities. He loves being able to connect and tell the story of someone else. He also loves connecting with other people when performing. He feels that if he gets a laugh, sigh, gasp, or a cry out of the audience his job was completed. Outside of acting, Christian is passionate about staying active and healthy. Sports like volleyball and dance have always been an important part of his life, and during his high school years, he was a member of his high school's dance team. He also has a passion giving back to his roots and helping the students and children that are as passionate as he is for acting.
