Stuart Elmore

Born and raised in Huntington Indiana, Stuart Elmore is a writer, director and assistant director currently based out of Chicago Illinois. He was surrounded by the arts of his high school where he participated in numerous media classes. He studied Music Media Production and Telecommunications at Ball State University where he continued to explore his love for filmmaking. He then attended Columbia College Chicago's MFA Cinema Directing program where he directed and worked on numerous projects and short films. Since earning his masters in May 2020, Stuart continues to develop and nurture his creative voice by doing as many small creative projects he can. From suspense horror to absurdist comedies, Stuart finds deep and moving stories in all genres, and hopes to maintain the versatility in his style and tone. Today, you can find him assistant directing various projects from short films, commercials, web series, television series, and feature films.
