Danielle Dominique Nelson

Danielle was born and raised in East Cleveland, Ohio in a single-parent home where she was highly influenced by her mother's love for the arts. Watching her mother paint to relieve stress, Danielle turned to pen and paper to help her escape her unstable surroundings. As quotes turned into poems and poems turned into stories, Danielle began writing her first novel, In Love There's War, at the age of 26. As the publication of the sequel approached, her authentic storyline garnered the attention of thousands demanding a television series based on the characters she had developed in her book. Danielle went on to produce her first web series, also titled In Love There's War, resulting in a devoted fan base that still awaits her next release. Danielle is now striving to establish herself as a showrunner - creator, head writer and executive producer - in the television and film industry. Her first feature film, Controlled, is a suspenseful thriller that she is looking forward to releasing in 2021.
