Chris Torem

Chris was born in Bronxville, New York. He moved to Rhode Island as a child and became a Physical Education and Health Teacher, Guidance Counselor, Football and Track and Field Coach as well as a power-lifter (500lb squat) & later Fitness Model (See the Total Toner Infomercial). Chris has survived 40 life threatening Crohn's Disease operations. He has captained two Semi-Professional Football Teams, is the All-Time Leading Sack Leader for the Eeastern Football League and is a former President of the Rhode Island School Psychological Association (RISPA). He first appeared as Thor in (Off-Broadway) the Play Valhalla at Theater for The New City but placed his acting career on hold when his son was born and who he raised. He began studying Psychology where he achieved his Masters of Arts and posts masters (Certification of Advanced Graduates Studies (CAGS) degrees. He also has a minor in Chemistry and is a former first aid instructor. Chris is now a practicing Psychologist, former Adjunct College Professor recruited to teach the unwanted Advanced Graduate Level Statistics and Research Course for Rhode Island College and has presented his published work on Crisis Intervention across the United States and Canada. Working his way through his many degrees, he held various teaching positions as well as worked as a WWE (formerly) WWF Wrestler, Nightclub Bouncer, Dancer and Topless Balloon Delivery man. Chris' stunt, combat and fight performances include several Zombie falls and tackles, as well as his activities in the many riot scenes seen in; Obamamania, The Deuce, Vault and the L'Algerino Music Video (fight club scene). He is self taught with the Broadsword as featured in The Swordsman and has had many thug, biker, inmate, henchman; fight roles as seen in the films Restaurant and Codename Dynastud. Chris has also assisted with the stunt coordination in Restaurant and (will be) in the 'Differente' production, filming March 2021. Chris plays roles from a cut 185lb, to jacked 202lbs villain or hero. He is also proficient with many other Stunts and Weapons from the Sword to the Bow and Arrow to the Crossbow....
