Vaughn Xavier Haynes

Born in Michigan, Vaughn Xavier Haynes has been acting and directing for his whole life. Beginning in community theatre and expanding to educational and ultimately professional theatre, he is no stranger to the stage. He is known for his range, frequently cast as characters spanning from zany and outlandish to stark and serious. An acclaimed director as well as an actor, his directing style has been described as "captivating, passionate, focused, and beautifully captures the heart and soul of the actors". He has also begun to act in film in addition to his comprehensive theatre experience, acting in student films, commercials, and documentaries, most recently in ESPN's "30 for 30". He is pursuing both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Michigan State University.
