D.J. Patton is a musician, film producer and actor from the San Francisco Bay Area. He first gained prominence as the bassist for California alternative rock band, Eleventeen, then later as the bassist for American Idol alumni James Durbin. A lifelong lover of horror movies, D.J. eventually ventured into filmmaking. His first project was the Friday the 13th spin off film, 13: Fanboy, where he served as co-producer and made his acting debut in the role of a security guard. He has several features on the slate, both as a producer and actor, including a Robert Englund documentary and the slasher film Massacre Academy, to name but a few. His all-time favorite film is John Carpenter's 1978 slasher masterpiece, Halloween. .
