San Yvin is a French and Vietnamese film director, writer, and cinematographer. Yvin grew up in Hanoi, where he was raised in a French bistro called Cyclo Bar. Yvin's first forays into the arts began as a ten years old when he experimented with oil painting, and then at age twelve expanded into digital photography and videography. Yvin taught himself how to write, direct and produce his own movies before attending film school at New York University.
