Margarita Julieta Iturriaga, named after her maternal and paternal grandmothers respectively, developed an interest in acting from a young age and had her first TV appearance at the age of 8 when she starred as the co-host of a recurring children's weekend program for the Latin American network ZAZ. Her school years were filled with theatre, singing, as well as speech and oratory competitions. Margarita resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
