Angie is an award-winning screenwriter based in Cincinnati, Ohio, who has a background in criminal justice and the law. Her passion for all things horror began with George A. Romero's masterpiece, Dawn of the Dead (1978) and her passion for all things filmmaking began in high school when she taught herself how to edit on an A/B Roll Editor. Since then, she has worked in video production and editing through her production company, Altered Minds Productions. Angie reunited with college friends in 2018 to work as the Best Boy Grip on a short film, "Grin and Bear It" and again in 2019 as the Best Boy Grip and Co-Producer on a short film, "From Within". She worked as a PA on the feature "Hard Kill" in 2020, shortly before co-founding Mangie Films. In 2020, under Mangie Films, Angie wrote, directed, and co-produced four short films, "7th and Main", "Fate of the Wanderer", "Playmates", and "Ms. Joy's Cookies" and the radio play "Windfall" in 2021. Angie has also been actively involved as the content creator, editor, and media manager for The Professor of Horror since 2019. Angie has worked in various aspects of multiple film festivals since 2017, including with Cincinnati Film Society, HorrorHound Film Festival, PopCon Film Festival, and is the Media Manger for the Days of the Dead Film Festival.
